Three Easy Ways to Organize Your Bedroom Closet

Out with the old. Before organizing your closet, go through everything you own and decide what you want to donate or toss out. A good rule of thumb is to discard anything you haven't worn in the past year. Not sure what falls in that category? Arrange all of your hanger so they face in the same direction. When you hang up clothes after wearing, flip the hanger in the opposite direction. Soon, you'll see which pieces are in heavy rotation, and which can go. Make accessories easier to see. Don't store accessories in boxes, which can quickly become a tangle of knotted necklaces and scarves. Instead, put them in easy-to-see locations: Drape scarves over a pants hanger, place shoes on a tiered rack or carousel, and arrange jewelry in a clear, over-the-door shoe organizer. Put little-used clothes in storage. We all have those pieces we're not ready to part with--yet. It's OK to hang on to them, but for the sake of freeing up closet space,
